Cafe Nordo is looking for talented, detail oriented cooks for part time prep and cooking in one of the most experimental and artistic kitchens in town.
Cafe Nordo strives to use locally sourced , fresh ingredients, and modernist techniques to create original, multiple course meals to coincide with our theater productions, and engage all of the senses in order to draw our guests further in to our shows. The surrealist cuisine helps tell the story at Nordo, and is designed to be mind-bending as well as delicious.
Service itself is more of a plated catering style rather than a restaurant line, and as such portion control is very important. Prep cooks will be required to receive orders and store inventory in an organized manner, break down and ready for use any produce, make sauces, frostings, salad dressings, and other long projects as needed. The details of the position will change with each new show that we run, as each show has its own menu.
Cooks will be required to assist with the daily short time prep projects for service, Cook the food to the recipe specifications, and plate the courses with careful attention to detail. Assist with cleaning and sanitation as well as normal closing procedures.
Both positions will need to be great with time management, be creative, work as cleanly as possible. Current food handlers card is required.

Nordo's Culinarium is seeking professional servers interested in part-time work, 1-2 shifts a week. The shifts begin at 5:30pm and end around 11pm.
The Culinarium is a dinner theater and Seattle foodie destination, so fine dining skills and performance experience is also a plus.
